Start from the Beginning!

Regardless of how long you've had horses or mules, you may find that there are certain gaps in your understanding, or gaps in your horse or mule's training, that are getting in the way of the type of ride and relationship that you'd like to have with your equine partner.

This class starts at the very beginning - in the round pen - to help you understand the equine mind, and learn to how to gently, safely, and effectively communicate and work with your horse or mule. You'll then move through ground work and on to riding. You'll learn thae relationship between ground skills and riding, and how "You Ride the Horse You lead."

Also, you'll learn the basics of proper use and care of tack, specific safety skills for living with horses and mules, trailer loading, safe mounting and dismounting, and so much more!

March 27 & 28 - Due to difficulty getting enough students, this clinic has been downgraded to a semi-private lesson for a small clinic. It could be upgraded to clinic status, however, if YOU want to join in! Contact Melanie!
