How Can We Help You?

Whether you are starting a colt, rehabilitating a problem horse or mule, having trouble with specific things such as trailer loading or leads, or just wanting a better relationship with the equine member of your family, a clinic or private session with Jerry Tindell can make the important difference!

From basic colt starting to finished pleasure horse, driving and pulling, cow working, trail riding and horse/mule camping, wilderness packing, arena events, and Mounted Posse work, Jerry will help you become more effective, safer, and more confident, through teaching softness and control.

If a person will allow him/herself the opportunity, Jerry will give him/her great power.

I realize that there are a number of people out there offering the same words....the difference is that Jerry doesn't get so impressed with himself that he forgets he is supposed to be teaching.

Jerry is "The Groundwork Guy." As you study with Jerry, you will learn for yourself just how deep the connection is between the way you work with your horse or mule on the ground, and how responsive the animal is under saddle.

The popular cow working clinics are a great way for experienced students to apply their horsemanship knowledge to a real-life situation that requires control, teamwork, softness, and quick responses.

Developing softness and flexion are key elements of the Tindell program

Challenge Clinics, also known as "Spook" clinics, are another popular venue that help the human learn to safely and confidently handle their equine partner under challenging circumstances

Training for Trail Trials contests is a natural adjunct to the Spook clinics

Driving clinics use the same principles as saddle training. As an experienced teamster, Jerry can help you develop your driving horse, mule, or team its potential for  carriage driving, farming, or pulling.

Jerry's "Colt Starting" clinics are an excellent way to get both horse (or mule) and rider off to a safe, confident start. Do it right the first time, and you'll not have to fix it later!
The First Ride: Safety for both horse or mule and rider always comes first. When the first ride goes well, the foundation is in place for a rewarding future!
