MEET THE TINDELLS
Jerry and Toni Tindell would
like you to meet the family of Tindell’s Horse & Mule School.
Jerry came to California in
1971 where he began shoeing horses with his older brother Duke. While
Jerry was shoeing horses he met a cowgirl named Toni Smith. Toni worked
at Knott’s Berry Farm working the burro ride.
In 1976 Jerry and Toni were
married and had a daughter in 1977 they named Joni (aka Babygirl).
Jerry and Toni moved to Hesperia, California in 1996 where Toni’s
parents Dale and Janet Smith had moved.

Dale and Janet loved to be
around horses and mules and also played an active role in Tindell’s
Horse & Mule School. Janet went home to be with Jesus August 31, 2005,
and
Dale (aka Smitty) followed in June of 2010.
The
Tindell ranch is currently home to 20 plus horses/mules, four dogs, a
handful of chickens, two cows and three sheep.
Joni married her high school
sweetheart, Phil Bennett (aka Sarge). Phil spent four years in the
United States Army where he was a SGT and served two tours in Iraq.
Joni & Phil just recently moved to Bishop, California, with their four
children, Seth (aka Slim) who is 8, Cody (aka Hoss) who is 7, Annie
Marie (aka Princess) who is 7, and Bruce (aka City Slicker) who is 11.
As you might notice, our family is big on nicknames! Joni & Phil still
play a very active roll in Tindell’s Horse & Mule School.
Joni does all of Tindell’s Horse & Mule School bookkeeping, DVD orders
and shipments. The little wranglers also play an active
roll in their “Cowboy Papa’s” and “G.G’s” business.
From our family to yours, we
would like to thank you for visiting Tindell’s Horse & Mule School
(humans too). We hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year,
and may God Bless you all.
