Jerry came to California in 1971 where he began shoeing horses with his older brother Duke and implementing his natural abilities with horses and mules expanding his knowledge and teaching it to others. While Jerry was busy expanding his trade and shoeing horses he met a cowgirl named Toni Smith, the love of his life.
The Tindell ranch is currently home to 20 plus horses/mules, and the rest of the animal crew. (four dogs, a handful of chickens, two cows and three sheep.)
From our family to yours, we would like to thank you for visiting Tindell’s Horse & Mule School (humans too). We hope you enjoy reading about our family, call us with any questions or come by for some coffee, good stories, or a slice of Jerry's famous pie.
May God Bless you all.
