This class starts at the very beginning – in the round pen – to help you understand the equine mind, and learn to how to gently, safely, and effectively communicate and work with your horse or mule. You’ll then move through ground work and on to riding. You’ll learn thae relationship between ground skills and riding, and how “You Ride the Horse You lead.” Also, you’ll learn the basics of proper use and care of tack, specific safety skills for living with horses and mules, trailer loading, safe mounting and dismounting, and so much more!
